Kuih sejemput gold is a traditional Malay cakes
especially in the state. This cake has a sweet taste of
fat produced using egg yolk cooked in sugar water, just like the cake mas nets,
but has a way of preparation and a different look.
Kuih sejemput mas prepared with egg yolks
slightly beaten up and taken out into the boiling sugar water. After some time, when cooked, the batter is lifted and then picked by
hand to the final shape. Mas
cake sejemput have specific and different shapes, such as triangles beropol.
It is usually only available for
special celebrations such as a proposal, marriage and so on.
INGREDIENTS:
1 kg of sugar
25 egg yolks
1 liter of water
4 pandan leaves
Yellow coloring
HOW TO PREPARE:
1. Cook sugar, water and pandan leaves to a boil.
2. Meanwhile, whisk the egg yolks until fluffy.
3. Enter the egg yolks into the sugar water little by little earlier.
4. Reduce heat and stir well.
